The Ball is almost upon us and with less than three weeks to go here’s our overview guide to the best May bank holiday party weekend in the land…
Warm up Friday
Rock up, pitch up your tent to the sound of our Glitterball Stage, making its debut in the campsite, then choose your route to wonderland….
To the left – wander down the rabbit hole (oh, alright it’s a hill) into Porthleven. Stop off at the Ship Inn for a quick one then (if you make it out) have a look round our village – we’ve some pretty swanky restaurants if you’re looking to impress your date on your first night.
To the right – head straight onto the main arena and relax on our cocktail terrace with some of the best views in the land. And breathe….
As the sun sets it all starts to pick up steam with an amazing line-up till 2am from the wizards at Al Fresco Disco. Listen to a sample at: alfrescodisco.co.uk/mixes
Friday hot (tub) tip: Why not make part of your warm up a hot tub disco? Grab up to seven mates for a Soak London session soundtracked by live DJ’s, it’s the perfect way to start an epic weekend… did we mention the view? Awesome. Book now
The Masked Ball on Saturday
Ah, Saturday. What can we say? Saturday is the day to get your ball on for 24 hours of party, people.
Go big… or go home.
It’s mad, it’s amazing, it’s loose as hell. There’s not too much we need to say about Saturday except bring your sparkles, your fancy outfits and your party head and let’s get on it!
And don’t forget your masks till midnight.
Check out our full line up and if you love a cheese course then seek out Shit Disco – go on, you know you want to.
Chill out Sunday
Getting out on (and in) the water is the perfect way to cure a hangover. Pop into the village to try a spot of Stand Up Paddleboarding in the harbour. Book now.
Down in Porthleven, the Hideaway is the best spot for a bacon butty, or try Kota Kai or Nauti for a posher brunch.
Then jump back in for the our lazy Lazer Shack afternoon session featuring local forager Josh showing you how to make boozy infusions form the hedgerows and music from Louelle Jade Eke and local punk legends Half Kut. Find out more about our Sunday session.
